Full geometry, not a handful of points
Our metrology does not sample isolated dimensions. Using high-accuracy 3D scanning we capture the complete geometry of the part and compare it against its nominal CAD model. The result is a colour deviation map showing at a glance where the part conforms and where it does not, alongside the dimension tables your quality system requires.
We inspect parts we manufactured and parts we did not. If a supplier delivered a questionable batch, we provide the objective evidence.

Why an independent measurement is worth paying for
When two parties disagree about whether a part conforms, the argument usually continues until somebody produces data. A dimensional report from a third party who did not make the part ends that conversation — and if the part is fine, it protects the supplier just as much as it protects the buyer.
Inspection scope is agreed for parts we machine, print or mold manufacture. Methods, tolerances and reports must be included in the agreed scope.
For a new component, agree inspection references when quoting CNC turning or CNC milling.
What is a CAD-versus-part dimensional report?
A document comparing the real geometry of a manufactured part against its nominal CAD model, showing deviations as colour maps and dimension tables. It tells you exactly where and by how much each area of the part differs.
Does the report imply certification or accreditation?
The report documents the characteristics evaluated. It does not imply quality-system certification or accredited measurement; required scope must be reviewed before contracting.
Can you measure large parts?
Yes, from small components through to complete bodies and structures, because we capture the full geometry by 3D scanning rather than probing isolated points.
Do you inspect parts made by other suppliers?
Yes, and it is a common request. Independent measurement is most valuable precisely when the party who made the part is the one being questioned.
What do you need in order to quote an inspection?
The nominal CAD model (STEP, CATPart or similar) and the physical part, or photographs of both for an initial quote over WhatsApp.

Datums, methods and acceptance
Provide current nominal CAD, units, critical dimensions, tolerances and alignment references. Agree sample count, measurement method and report contents.
Scope and limitations
A color map alone does not establish conformity. Document inaccessible areas and measurement uncertainty. Accredited measurement requirements need review before acceptance.
