Every fault turns into a hunt for spares on the second-hand market, and the risk grows with each month that passes.
Replacing the whole machine is the expensive answer. Revamping keeps what still works — the mechanics — and renews what does not.

Industry 4.0 without the buzzwords
Connecting a machine achieves nothing if nobody is going to look at the data or decide anything with it. Instrumenting makes sense when it answers a specific question you cannot answer today: how often it stops and why, how long a changeover really takes, whether wear follows a predictable pattern.
That is the difference between an attractive dashboard and a maintenance decision you can defend with numbers. It is the same measure-in-order-to-improve logic that governs this whole division.
The parts that no longer exist
