Terms of sale
Last updated: 12 September 2026
These general terms apply to the sale of equipment, supplies and training. The specific conditions of each transaction — scope, price, lead time and warranty — are set out in the quotation, and that quotation prevails wherever it differs from what is described here.
Quotations
- This site is a catalogue, not a shop with a cart: there are no published prices and no online checkout.
- Each quotation is issued to the company and states its validity period. Beyond that period it must be revalidated, because the equipment is imported and exchange rates move.
- An order is firm once the customer accepts the quotation in writing and the agreed payment condition is met.
Prices, taxes and invoicing
- Prices are stated in the currency shown on the quotation and exclude VAT unless expressly stated otherwise.
- A CFDI invoice is issued using the tax details provided by the customer. Supplying those details correctly and on time is the customer's responsibility.
- The usual payment method is bank transfer.
Delivery
- Lead time is confirmed in the quotation and depends on whether the equipment is in stock or has to be imported.
- Import lead times may be affected by customs procedures outside our control. Where that happens, the customer is informed as soon as we know.
- Shipping, insurance and handling costs are stated in the quotation where they apply.
Warranty
- Equipment is supplied with the warranty stated in its quotation, backed by CoreMesh as single point of contact: the customer does not have to deal with the manufacturer directly.
- The warranty covers manufacturing and functional defects under normal conditions of use.
- It does not cover damage from impact, drops, moisture, power surges, improper transport, handling by unauthorised third parties, or use outside the manufacturer's specifications.
- Periodic calibration is maintenance, not warranty, and is the customer's responsibility unless contracted separately.
Returns
- Metrology equipment is specialised technical hardware and, once delivered, configured and commissioned, is not returnable on change of mind.
- If equipment shows an original defect, it is handled under warranty: repair or replacement as applicable.
- If a shipment arrives damaged or incomplete, it must be reported within the periods stated in the quotation, with photographic evidence and with the packaging unaltered.
Training
- Training included in a package is delivered once the equipment has been supplied, on dates agreed with the customer.
- The number of attendees and the duration are defined in the quotation. Additional sessions are quoted separately.
- Rescheduling requested at short notice may carry a cost, particularly where travel is involved.
- CoreMesh issues its own certificate of completion. We are not registered as an external training agent with Mexico's Ministry of Labour, so we do not issue the DC-3 form.
Software and licences
Equipment software is governed by its manufacturer's licence and that licence's terms of use and renewal. Unless expressly stated, quotations do not include CAD licences or other third-party software.
Liability
CoreMesh is responsible for supply, commissioning and training as quoted. Technical decisions the customer makes on the basis of measurements taken with their own equipment and their own staff are the customer's responsibility.
