A scan is only worth what comes after it
Plenty of vendors will hand you an STL and consider the job finished. A raw mesh is not a CAD model, and it will not let you machine, mold or modify anything. We scan with the end in mind — a parametric model, an inspection report, or a part ready to manufacture.

What accuracy can you achieve?
High-accuracy structured light scanning, suitable both for dimensional inspection and for rebuilding manufacturable CAD. We confirm the achievable tolerance against your specific part and application before quoting.
Can you scan large parts?
Yes, from small components through to complete automotive bodies and structures. Large geometry is captured as a whole rather than as a set of isolated points.
Do I get a CAD model or just a mesh?
Whichever the job needs. A mesh is enough for 3D printing; for machining, molding or design changes you need a parametric CAD model, and that is what reverse engineering delivers.
Do you scan parts you did not manufacture?
Yes. Independent verification of third-party parts is a routine request, particularly when a batch is in dispute and both sides need objective data.
Do we have to ship the part to you?
Send photographs and rough dimensions first and we will tell you what is feasible before anything moves. For larger equipment, describe the case and we will scope the approach together.

Provide dimensions, weight, finish, access and intended use. Mesh delivery, reconstructed CAD and inspection reports are separate scopes.
Scope and limitations
Scanning captures accessible surfaces. Hidden cavities, reflective or transparent areas and tight requirements may call for preparation or another method. Resolution is not accuracy.
